The kid's all about preparedness

We're headed east to meet my brand new baby nephew and Lil E and I are giggly, huggy and thrilled to impart many kisses and reveal many secrets about what will befall Anakin Skywalker most small children are not privy to until they are at least six months old.

I can't wait to see my brother as a father, to hug my sister-in-law and sneak ice cream and sugar gum tithe six-week old. I kid. It will totally be sugar-free Bubbalicious.

My own boy, who was surely this small only five minutes ago, keeps putting my emotions into his own words, saying, "I just live him so much without even seeing him yet."

That all changes today. And I have an idea that, as big as the two of us love, we're going to be amazed how much our hearts grow on this trip.

T-minus two hours until we have him snuggled up in our arms.
