Today, I have one less friend on Facebook

I didn't click the delete button, but I knew it was just a matter of time before we were no longer connected that way. It's for the best. Our real life friendship was over, and I was the person who hit delete in that decision.

It wasn't easy, but it was the healthiest thing for me. There's nothing like divorce and death, parenting and disease anxiety, near-death and dating (which is sometimes qualifies as near-death, just over chicken strips and not nearly enough booze)
