Please God, let it be over

Sick. sick. sick. Bruce and I got the same stomach flu poor Lil E had, and I've had a few weepy moments imagining that he felt this bad.

I've been trying to center on gratitude this week, but all I can think of is how thankful I am that all three of us don't have this at the same time, and that my parents hadn't left on their own Thanksgiving travels yet and could help out with Lil E. Thank God for the Thanksgiving feast at co-op yesterday and that he had fun eating turkey hotdogs (I wince just to type that) while we were at home in agony.

Apparently, this is not one of the things the flu shot covers. Ugh.
