Someone Else's Words Wednesday: Because our lives are bigger than we know

Shoes2

We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

~Joseph Campbell

Thank you to the lovely and talented Melissa for reminding me of this quote and the power of releasing and embracing.

Oh you dear, sweet friend. Your post brought tears to my eyes and I'm not entirely sure why, but I have to guess that it's because these words are fraught with depth and emotion and intention, and knowing you connected with them as I did is so moving and powerful. Peace to you.

(Oh, and PS: Those are some rockin' shoes you're sporting.)

Hello. I stumbled across your blog....well, actually I was hijacked. I was signing in to my mail.com account and this pop ad commandeered my screen. I was not pleased.

So, upon clicking on the 'contact us' icon so that I could give them a piece of my mind and advise them that since they commandeered my screen, I would not patronize their business.

Anywaaaay, it happened to be "Shine" that commandeered my screen and the moral of the story is I found your blog...and I'm happy.

So, sometimes being hijacked is a great thing.

The quote:We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

~Joseph Campbellis my story today. I'm still trying to rid myself of the life I've allowed so that I can step into the life that is waiting for me.

I will return. Thank you.
